...this game could be the best looking game ever, but seeing the devs act like snotty fanboys makes me not wanna give them a dime of my money.
Star Ocean The Last Hope
Final Fantasy 13
Leisure Suit Larry: BoB
The Fifth Element (PS1)
Tony Hawk Underground 2 (thanks in no small part to Bam Margera)
Golden Axe Beast Rider
X-Blades
Alone in the Dark (the new one)
I'm sure there are more but I'm done rehashing bad experiences for one post
I think the game you're thinking of is Aero the Acrobat.
But yeah, he kinda ranks up there with Bubsy as "the Most Annoying Anthropomorphic Animal Mascot that Never Went Anywhere...Thankfully"
...considering the Nemo was never released (although I can see why), so how can it be a worst game system?
And the Nomad and TurboExpress were literally handheld clones of their big brother consoles, considering they played the same games interchangeably, so technically they weren't stand-alone consoles, just smaller versions of their more popular counterparts
I know I'm kinda nitpicking, but when somebody says "stand-alone console", I think of something th...
...a game that was heralded as being worse than ET for Atari 2600 definitely has a place on my bookshelf just for shock value
It's still there, collecting dust
....ultimately a lame article. These guys are SNES fangirls to the bitter end. Despite myself agreeing with Mega man 2 and SotN, the others are familiar, but by no means the greatest ever.
....it's not an FF7 remake...it's not Xenogears on PSN, and it's probably not Dragon Quest coming to PS3 or 360.
Therefore, don't care. *goes back to bed*
....even I'll admit I set aside 10GB for Linux when I threw a 320GB HDD in my PS3, but that was over a year ago and I had yet to utilize Linux on it.
I'm not upset by this because this is just one of the many things I had figured I would do at some point and time but never found it important enough to use free time on. I was only gonna use it for emulators anyway, for which I have a gamecube softmod that already serves that purpose.
So....yeah, reclaiming 10GB of HD...
....now get to work on Xenogears!
...I bought both episodes and reveled in a traditional style turn-based RPG that had a sense of humor and didn't take itself seriously.
At about 7-8 hours apiece, I had a lot of fun with it and felt that I got my money's worth. But now I feel shortchanged considering that I've been looking forward to EP. 3 for about a year now and it's not gonna happen. Maybe they could've told us sooner?
...and that's 10 times longer than I could stand FF13 as of right now. This game is awesome. The story is a little convoluted and it suffers from "anime characters with spiky hair all look the same" syndrome, but all in all the game looks beautiful, I actually like the world layout and the Energy Hex system to carve out paths to where you need to go.
This was a fresh way to conduct a JRPG, and I like it. I've had enough of swords and shields for a while
...
...however people need to remember that this game was originally developed as an Original Xbox exclusive, from what I've read they scrapped it completely a couple of times and started over, so total dev time on it was 4 or 5 years.
Maybe THAT had something to do with not making any money on it? Somebody needs to tell this guy to include all pertinent information before making a flame statement like that
....don't act like you're some rare, coveted piece of ass every time I'm around one of you "gamer girls".
The girls that work at Gamestop are usually guilty of this act. They just assume every guy is there to hit on them as they breathe through their mouths and start pitching a tent at the thought of a girl handing them their new game. Not really.
I'm there to buy my game, and GTFO faster than you can say "is there anything you'd like to pre-order?&q...
Dead Samurai (the precursor to this game) remains the only XBL game I've ever purchased, and still play to this day. Looking forward to this installment
...I bought it alongside GOW3 and after beating that game, I put this in my PS3 and it hasn't left it since. This is the RPG I've been waiting for and have been fully into from the beginning, unlike another certain JRPG that was a 5-day rental and only got played for 2 of those days because it sucked balls (It starts with an F and ends with 13).
This game has beautiful visuals, awesome customization (both weapon and character), not a very strong story but that's to be expected f...
...apple already tried it with the Pippin and fell flat on their faces. It would be nice to see a 4th competitor, but I'd rather it be Sega than Apple.
All Apple would do is release an under-powered, over-priced console with touch-screen controllers and market it to every Starbucks-dwelling douchebag in the country.
....after that 4/10 review of Heavy Rain (which DID get aggregated into Metacritic for some stupid reason)
This site was fail after that
...definitely brought back some memories, nothing good however. I remember cringing badly whenever a family member would walk in during a PS1 or Saturn game cutscene and thinking I was out of my mind for watching and listening to such drivel.
I remember Virtua Cop 2 as having the end all, be all worst voice acting...ever.
Okay...so where the hell is Bubsy and why isn't he numbers 5 through 1 on this list?
....almost every game on this list has had either a sequel or remake in the last 3 years or so.
It's called "research"...y'know, that thing most people do before writing or generally doing anything to avoid looking like a total moron?
But as long as we're on the subject, I have a few that desperately DO need to be revived:
Legend of Dragoon (sequel is almost eternally rumored)
Starflight (hands-down the BEST intergalactic sandbox game, EV...
